Amalfi Coast Wedding | Destination Wedding Photographer

Ah, the Amalfi Coast. I’ve always loved Italy. I would say that Cinque Terre is probably my favorite place – but I’ve always wanted to get to know the Amalfi Coast too! Whenever I think of the Amalfi coast, I think of lemons, sunshine, and beautiful houses cascading the hills. That was exactly what it was like! Spending most of our time in Sorrento, with a little bit of time in Positano and Capri was really beautiful. I’d say my favorite part was going on a boat trip to Capri. I wasn’t super impressed by Capri itself, but I enjoyed the boat ride so much! I’m a water baby: get me close to oceans, rivers, lakes – basically any body of water!

I know Joanna and Jason from church, so when they asked me to shoot their Amalfi coast wedding, I of course was on board! The day of the wedding was hot. I mean REALLY hot. I’m so glad they chose to have their Amalfi coast wedding at sunset – because it was a GORGEOUS sunset at that. They had their ceremony, immediately followed by some lemon sorbet, which all their guests (and I) were thankful for. The man serving the lemon sorbet had such a fun cart, it was so Italian! We then left to do their couple’s photos at the beautiful Chiostro di San Francesco. It is the perfect place for photos! I would highly recommend a ceremony there even, to anyone who is thinking of getting married in the Amalfi Coast. It is absolutely breathtaking. They then had their reception at the Marameo Beach Club. Delicious food, beautiful sunset, hilarious dancing and speeches. It was really a beautiful wedding!
